My current work horse is the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III. It is simply the best Digital SLR available and is capable of producing images containing over 21 megapixels. In addition, as a backup, I have a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II and a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I always have several high-capacity compact flash cards, giving me the capability of capturing several hundred images before I have to download the files, more than sufficient capacity except for the most unusual circumstances.
This gives me a very large shooting capacity in JPG format, and quite an impressive capability in RAW format, which is the format I normally shoot in since it provides me with more control and the optimum flexibility for image processing. This camera and its lenses create superb images which can be retouched using Photoshop Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4 and then printed or sized for Internet display.
The EOS 1Ds Mark III, EOS-1Ds Mark II and EOS 5D Mark II have no magnification factor as compared to 35mm, making it one of only just a few such digital cameras available anywhere and allowing the use of wide-angle lenses without being concerned about the multiplication factor normally associated with other digital SLR cameras.
In addition, my home studio is equipped with professional lighting equipment, backgrounds, posing equipment and various props that can be used to enhance your images.
Besides using my home studio, I also have access to a professional photo studio that, when necessary, can be rented for shoots.
